I apologize in advance, but this is going to be a very vague “About.” I am an actual law school student, and I’m concerned about my identity and getting into trouble because sometimes lawyers are assholes (including myself). For clarification, I’m not actually a drug addict. Law School just makes me wish I was. Sometimes I drink in excess. I’m just trying to give you full disclosure here.
Since I won’t be putting in a picture of myself, here’s a kitten I once fostered:
Things that qualify me to write a blog: nothing. I attended college and even graduated, despite my horrible attendance record, but I still don’t understand how to properly use commas, and semicolons just confuse me. Also, I played with pictures and themes for this blog for an embarrassing amount of time (think hours) and still ended up with the shitty warped header I’ve got going on right now. The interweb is a large and confusing place. My blogs are likely to be grammatically incorrect, incomprehensible, and a little offensive. You’ve been warned.
Things that qualify me to write about the reality of law school: I’m at one. However, I thoroughly suck at it, so maybe the answer should again be “nothing.” I intend to use my own personal experiences (and those of my friends) in law school to discuss how law school fails at its primary goal of creating lawyers. Lawyers being people with the practical tools necessary to practice law.
Moral of this blog: DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, DECIDE TO GO TO LAW SCHOOL.
Moral #2: I AM IN NO WAY QUALIFIED TO HELP YOU DECIDE WHETHER OR NOT YOU WANT TO GO TO LAW SCHOOL.
Also, one time I wrote a YA book, and it’s super emo and awful. That can be found here.
